How to Choose a Cleaning Robot: Five Questions Before You Decide
Passage width, floor type, area, tank and supervision: these questions help you find the right model.

1. How narrow are the tightest spots?
The PUDU ET1 manages with a 500 mm passage width, the Gausium Phantas with 600 mm, the Mira with 660 mm, and the Omnie needs 800 mm.
2. What kind of floor do you have?
Almost all models suit hard floors. The PUDU CC1 Pro works on hard floors and optionally on carpet, and the Gausium Vacuum 40 vacuums carpet and hard floors. Check in advance whether carpeted areas are involved.
3. How large is the area?
The figures range from 700 to 1,000 m² per hour for the PUDU CC1, through up to 2,000 m² per hour for the BG1 Pro, to up to 4,234 m² per hour of sweeping performance for the Gausium Marvel. Manufacturer values are partly theoretical. For the Gausium Scrubber 75, practical values are 700 to 1,400 m² per hour.
4. How much water is needed?
Tanks range from 15 liters for the CC1 through 22 liters for the Mira and iKitbot S55 Pro and 33 liters for the Omnie, up to 75 liters for the BG1 Pro and Scrubber 75 and 80 liters for the Marvel. A larger tank means fewer interruptions.
5. Who looks after the robot?
Refilling water, emptying the tank, changing brushes: water and self-cleaning stations take over part of this. Clarify who is responsible in day-to-day operation.
